Potty training....

So potty training is sooo not fun... Gretchen does not care for stickers, a new toy, mom acting a fool or any other type of praise, i have even offered to give her a birthday cake if she could go 1 whole day.. Nope she doesnt care.I think what makes me the most for a lack of better word mad is that before Gunner she was doing wonderful. She would pee and poop in the potty she did this not for just 1 day but for a full week. She only had to wear pulls up when she went to sleep, and i was 100% fine with that. Then one day she woke up and went and sat on the potty got up and peed while standing in the living room. So i asked her what happen? and she down right fused to go to the potty, wear underwear or pull ups. She would pull the pull ups off as soon as i would put them on her and it was just not fun. So me being almost ready to pop and really not having the energy to fight her i gave in and allowed her to have her diapers back.. ( my fault i know this) Now she has NO interest in the potty. I had hoped that she would be potty trained before 2 then after that came i figured shortly after, then before Gunner got here and now im looking at her 3rd birthday as a dreaded goal date again. I just dont understand it.. I feel like a failure as a parent i mean come on i have a 2 year old that is calling the shots. So defeating..  As a experiment i let her run free, I made a little area for her that had a waterproof pad and had her drink and crackers everything she could want. I wanted to know if she knew what it felt like before she had to go.. So i sat there with a timer ( i had her pee in the potty when she got up ) I also wanted to know how long it was taking her before she had to go again. So after 18 mins she gets up and tells me she needs to poop and then pee I said ok well lets go to the potty, She says no and trys to put on a pull up... I make her go to the potty and she pees. So i praise her give her a sticker, and let her play the Im a big kid now app. She seems happy and excited so we do it again.. Then 20mins go by 30mins and now she is sitting on the floor crying, Gretchen why are you crying i want a pull up why you can go to the potty right here. No she doesnt want to too. So i make her anyway she sits there for 45 mins and barely goes. like a drop and then i said ok yay all the stuff prior and then she goes into the kitchen and stand there and pee!! WHAT THE HELL!!! So what do you do.. I try not to freak out but i do get upset with her cause she knows what she is doing. I am really trying to figure out what the deal is!! yes it could be regression cause of gunner and he wears diapers but she is not treated any different then she was before, I mean she still gets all the attention from me, She may have to wait a little bit longer but i still make the time to play with her. So i dont know what to do. I have pretty much given up for now. Maybe she will just wake up 1 day and start peeing in the potty... ****SIGH***

Gunner

Well where do I start this boy is crazy!!! He was rolling over when he was like 4 Months, both ways he is already crawling fairly well. He can get where he is going and really that's what he is concerned about! He is complete mamas boy, he enjoys other people but he is still attached to me. I like this most of the time and other times it's very hard.. Hes a happy boy always smiling hardly ever crying. He has zero patiences for a bottle not being made on demand, we have about 1 minute  to get his bottle made and into his mouth before complete meltdown mode.. We have a few meltdowns a day! Lol he loves his sister like crazy and Bentley too! He is very much concerned on what he's doing most of the day. I am sure he weighs 20+ pounds and who knows how long, he is due for his 4 month shots bein he's almost 6 months but that's what happens when you move right before they give them to him and move out of state.. He will most likely go to the doctor in the next few weeks, he sleeps with us, but I'm thinking of putting him in his pack and play now but we will see. He has started food he was sooo ready!!! He loves it, he has taste of things from our plate but as his own food he has had avocado and peas he has liked both in his food future I see green beans, bananas and apples.. If I can get some good sweet corn this year he will be trying that out too.. I don't really follow the rules when it comes to foods with my kids.. Both had chocolate before they were 5 months old and I don't wait 4 or 5 days I normally wait 2 days before introducing new foods being in making gunners food he will be on a 3 day plan.. Gretchen only ate 1 jar of baby food a day till she was probably 8 months or so she just wasn't interested in food! Still isn't!! Gunner on the other hand is still hungery after eating a 8 oz bottle at times so I am starting to feed him baby food then give him a bottle and hes happy with 6 oz again.. So he will probably be on 2 times a day before long. One thing I can say about rising kids is Everyone does it different..

Gretchen

Oh how this girl test me daily.. She was born in the perfect month for her that's for sure cause she is a firecracker!!! She has grown so much it's amazing really when I think back to when we 1st brought her home to what she is doing now!!! She is having a blast living here in Oklahoma, she absolutely loves being able to visit pawpaw during the week or go to her cousins house on the weekends. When we 1st got here she got to feed cows cubes and she thought that was the best thing ever!! She loves that her cousin Allison has a closest full of dress up clothes. She ask everyday if she can see Gavon and once she asks about one she asks about all of them all except crystal!! The 1st weekend we were here crystal scared her so she is still a little Leary about her!! Which is too funny because most love crystal and arfriad of perry figures my kid is different.. While at her cousins house she got to go fishing or dogfishing as she calls it...

She is getting better and better and as long as its not a catfish she will touch them but if it's a catfish she up and out very quick like!!! She got to go fishing with her pawpaw the other weekend and she had so much fun..

She is still my long and skinny girl not sure if that's ever going to change!! She eats like a bird and still doesn't want to pee in the big potty... I would like to have her going in the big potty by the time he is three but who knows its really not a battle I want to fight right now.. so we will have to see.. Right now she loves being a big sister loves strawberries, and her favorite show is liberty kids on Netflix!!! She is super smart and her speech is getting better well at least I think it is!

Ummm wow

So it's been awhile since I blogged!!! It's so hard, I feel like with 2 kids I'm either making a bottle, making a snack rocking one to sleep telling one it's quite time or please be quite... My lap is never empty I either have Gunner ,Gretchen or Bentley in it and sometimes a combo of the 3.
It sometime more then I can handle my me time has taken a big hit with the birth of our 2nd child so my blogging has taken a huge hit!! So hopefully I can try and post here at least once a week!!! So here a summery of what's happened since my last post with things I have forgotten I'm sure!!!

David fell at work and hurt his ankle pretty bad the doctors were a little baffled at why it didn't break, so he was out of work for about a month..

 I loved having him home but I think he was ready to go back to work at the end of the month! David turned 38 in February Gretchen and I made him a cake and a card!

 As you can see she couldn't wait to eat the cake!!

 Also in February one of my dear bible study girls had her baby Cece, before she had her I got to make a diaper cake for her it was my 1st one I was pretty happy with how it turned out!

 In march David gave his notice to work cause we had decided to move closer to family having 2 kids and no family under a 12 hour drive wasn't the easiest thing to do so on march 23 we packed up and moved to Tulsa! It was bittersweet I am so glad to be a hour away from my dad and just 2 from David's family but I do really miss my bible study girls!!! They had a goodbye lunch for me before I left an it was sooo great to see them all before I left! We are now living In a apartment in Tulsa trying to figure out our next house move it will defentliy be a in state move but not sure if we are going to try for a house to be built or if we are going to buy a house.. Time will tell!! Since moving to Tulsa we have been busy we had a birthday the 2nd day we were here and we spent a good deal of time at David's brothers house, Gretchen had a blast!! She loves being able to visit her cousins more then 1 time a year.. Then the next weekend was Easter and we all had a great time we do Easter a little different then most we did the normal egg hunts and family and friends but instead of your normal meal we had wild hog, bear, brisket and I think pork butt. It was a blast then Gretchen got to do a night egg hunt and the kids loved it. David got a new gun and I I got a gun from my dad that I had been wanting!!

 We have been to the Tulsa zoo and lets just say its not the Brookfield zoo !! Lol

Well that pretty much covers the past few months I have 2 more post to update on Gretchen and Gunner but they will be separate post.. Hopefully I can keep up with posting from now on but we will see...

Potty training,eating food,blogging from my phone and praying

Well Gretchen just doesn't want to go in the potty!!! I don't understand, it's frustrating in the sense that I have tried so many different things.. Stickers acting a fool, sitting in the bathroom forever, ( which now is pretty much not happening cause gunner is moblie)) she refuses to wear pull ups or underwear an at 1st I would fight her on it but when she would either take the pull up off as soon as I walked out of the room or she would stand there and pee in the floor i decided fine you can just go from diaper to potty, well that's not happening either!!! I would really really like her to be potty trained by the time she is 3 so she can play in some community classes and maybe if I can find the right program go to a preschool...

Gunner on the other hand is loving eating food!!! He has avocados, peas, apples and bananas.. Well a bite of banana.. He has pretty much loved everything but cold peas he didn't like the peas at 1st I just figured whatever and was moving on with life when while about to fall a sleep the other night it just popped into my head he might like them a little warm!!! How would you like to eat cold peas?! Heck I don't even like hot peas!!! Hahaha so the next day I warmed them up and he ate them right up!!! So peas need to be warm!! He hasn't had any issues with any foods..so David and I were talking about baby food and I had a thought With Gretchen I never really thought about this but then again I didn't make her food either.. At what age do we start requiring our food to taste good!! I mean really who just grabs some peas, and starts eating them, salt pepper nothing just peas!!! I kinda feel bad for them cause umm nasty!!! Hahaha

Blogging from my phone I have recently started writing my blog post from my phone and then just added my pictures from the computer when I have time.. (that's why the other post I promised to post have yet to be posted!!) I actually like being able to write from my phone.. So this post has been written and posted from my iPhone hope it comes out ok!!

So since moving from Illinois my bible reading has became non existent so I have been praying that I would be more compelled to pick up the bible and read before doing other things, Facebook, pinterest,playing a game I have pretty much failed but I have been talking to God more and more so that's a good thing! But this morning I had in my heart Matthew 8:28.. Ok verse just don't come to me I mean like never this is the 1st time I have ever been like oh I should read this verse so I did and I don't see how it has to do with me at all but at some point I am sure I will look back and be like ohhhhh that makes sense!!! So i am going to end my post with the verse,Matthew 8:28 "When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon‑possessed men coming from the tombs met him.
