 2011 was a year filled with big events.. I have so many favorite pictures from 2011 but these are my SOOC favorite shots... ... Something that i am trying to apply to my life.. SOOC shots show life how it was right then, not always perfect but still so amazing!!!

My dad got diagonsed with prostrate cancer, had treatments and was given the all clear to come here for when our son was born!! Thank GOD!!

potty training

we have been working on potty training off and on for a while now but this past week we have been trying to work on it everyday..The 1st day we only had 1 accident but we spent a lot of time on the potty in front of the TV. Then the 2nd day we had 2 accidents back to back and Gunner was extra needy so i put a diaper on gretchen and just figured we would try again the next day. Then out of no where she droped what she was doing and ran to the bathroom taking her diaper off on the way. So i just let her do that all day she never had a accident she would sometimes pee in her diaper but only cause she wasnt able to run fast enough to get to the bathroom. Then yesterday we took the day off cause she got a hold of bad ranch dressing and it made her sick and it was coming out both ends... Then today she got up  and went to the potty 1st thing and has been doing well all day.. I havent even began to try a overnight..

Differences

Gunner and Gretchen are so different in so many ways...
He has to be warm,she gets likes being cool
He eats like a pig,she well not so much...
She wanted her link ( still would if I let her) all the time, he doesn't care either way.
He wants to be held all the time by me.Gretchen was happy in her swing,or laying by herself.I remember when we were on vacation with her in fort smith and Oklahoma for everyone to see her.On the last day she screamed a scream I had never heard when someone would touch her... She was super happy on the floor.. I remember my dad telling me she must be sore from everyone holding her.. Gunner on the other hand I don't think would ever grow tired of being held.
I am excited to see the changes in them as they both grow!!!

It's 2am

And I am still awake... It may be cause I am lacking in the sleep department but asbo sat here in bed tonight and held one baby slept on my chest and the other one had been passed out for hours sat up looked at me and said hi mama.... Then passed back out.. I sat here for a minute and then it hit me... I am a mom and  I love being a mom,and as I sit here I remember that not long ago at 2am I would just be walking in the door from being out or be hanging out with my friends.. now my 2am awake time is changing a diaper,comforting a sick kid,watching spongebob,wondering,thinking and praying about my kids... I wouldn't change it for the world...
