all about gretchen

Growing up, Gretchen got a different walker on tues, her great aunt bought it for her cause she was just too big for the other one. She got a Winnie the pooh one and i have to say it is much better (just cause its taller) and only was about 5 bucks more then the other one she had but i never did see the one she has now. She is on the lowest setting and unless she wants to she doesnt even touch the ground..She seems to like it a lot, it has some toys on it that she cant throw on the ground so it makes things easyier for me too... Since moving here her sleep patterns have changed a lot she is sleeping for the night by 1030pm, she is up at 630am and is up for a little while before going back to sleep for what starts her naps..She got her 1st pair of shoes on tues as well, now this is not saying she didnt have shoes before this but this is the 1st pair that fit her and that she can keep on her feet, I have found out that she has wide chunky feet, well i have wide feet and david has narrow feet so we see where that comes from..She is saying dadda, and mamma,byy-byy,Kristy swears that she said bye-bye and waved last night but i missed it so we will see if we can get her to do it again.So with everything going on gretchen hasnt been to the dr in some time, She missed her 6 month shots and i figured i would have gotten her in by now but havent, so she is going to miss the 3rd rotovirus shot cause i guess they cant get it after 8 months old.. I am going to take her up to the walk in clinic (in tahlequah)  on her birthday so we can get back in the routine of going to the drs every few months..
She is pulling up very good, she pulls up on everything she can. I see a A LOT of bumps and bruises in our furture.she is still sleeping with us, i think she will prob continue to do so till about a year or so and then she can begin to sleep in her own bed (pack and play) Our next house will have a room for her so she will make the transition to that in a year when our lease is up.She has both of her bottom two teeth, she seems to be teething more but she isnt one to let you exam her mouth so i dont know if they are comming in or not. She will not let me mess with her nose and when its necessary its a very tearful event for her. She is still a VERY happy baby, not a lot of tears unless something is wrong. I was worried about social anxiety or stranger anxiety but she seems to have none. She will pretty much go to anyone but she has 1 person that cant hold her or even talk to her without her crying and i am not sure why. Her and bentley are very good buddies. She seem very comfy with her Aunt Kristy, which makes sense being when we were here in September Kristy had the most to do with her then anyone else. I think we will try a hour without mom in the near furture and see how she does.. She is sitting up very good in the shopping cart seats and the 1st time she did was at freds and she really seem to like it, she is such a nosy little girl, very much a busy body.. I think she would like the seats even more if they turned away from mom and faced the rest of the world. She is a very good traveler, she may have a few mins of uneasiness if she is tired but uselly will just go to sleep and then wake up in a good mood... She has had a few new foods or tastes of foods, She had white gravy the other day and LOVED it.. She loves pickles.loves chocolate,(thanks aunt kristy,LOL) The only fruit that i have found that she really likes is a mix of pears and pineapple that no walmart around here seems to have. We havent done meat from a jar yet, i am kinda having a hard time cause i taste EVERYTHING she eats or drinks and i just am having a hard time wanting to taste that meat. She loves meat that we have let her taste, Her mesh bink thing is prob the best tool for her to taste the foods we eat without me worrying that she is going to choke on anything.She loves to play with bentleys toys which is a Constance fight cause she wants to chew on his chew toys and thats just nasty.Well thats all i have for now that i can think of... Its for a fact that my little baby girl is growing up right before my eyes!!!
