Taco Bites
I was catching up on my blogs today and found this recipe for taco bites... I love taco so i dont see how this could be good... Here is the recipe if you want to try ( i am posting it on my blog cause if i write it down i will lose it) Wanna see what they look like hop on over to this blog and see... (until i make mine)
Here is what you need:
- two cans of crescent rolls (this will make 16 rolls)
- 1 lb. of ground beef or ground turkey
- packaged taco seasoning
- 1 package of shredded cheese of your choice (I used the Mexican blend)
- salsa
Here is how you make these babies:
1) Brown your meat in a pan and when its 'almost' cooked through, ADD your taco seasoning mix. Finish cooking and set aside.
2) Grab a large cookie sheet and set up an assembly line (I am all about assembly lines, remember). You will need a little bowl with your cheese, your freshly cooked taco meat, and your unwrapped crescent rolls. This again helps with the sticky, cheesy, meaty fingers.
3) Place a little bit of the taco meat and a little bit of cheese in your crescent roll and roll that baby up. Continue until all of your crescents are filled.
4) Follow the baking instructions on the crescent packages and cook until golden.
5) Now, you can either cut these crescents into bite size pieces OR leave them whole
